Overview — English

Broken Beach, or Pasih Uug, is a circular cove connected to the sea through a natural rock arch. The main experience is from cliff-top paths rather than from the shoreline below.

Visitors usually walk around part of the rim to view the arch from different angles. The ground can be uneven, dusty in dry conditions, slippery after rain, and exposed near sections of cliff without complete protection. Moving too close to the edge for photographs creates unnecessary risk.

Broken Beach is commonly paired with Angel’s Billabong because the two are close together. Visit timing should still account for Nusa Penida road conditions, tour-vehicle congestion, and weather.

Travel Tips

  1. 1.Wear shoes suitable for uneven ground.
  2. 2.Keep children close to adults.
  3. 3.Avoid exposed cliff-edge photo positions.
  4. 4.Combine with Angel's Billabong but allow time for congestion.
